Welcome IIDEXCanada Exhibitors to The Buildings Show 2017

Thank you for joining us in IIDEXCanada at The Buildings Show 2017. This exhibitor manual will provide you with all the details you require to have a successful show. 

You will find order forms for all necessary services here, as well as a list of IIDEXCanada's exclusive and official suppliers here.

Item Deadline Date
Advance Show Receiving, Material Handling, Storage, In-booth Forklifting and/or Carpet - place and order with GES for above serivices, if needed. Please note, orders placed after the deadline will increase in cost. November 7, 2017
Booth Display Regulations - Ensure your booth design meets the requirements listed and submit booth designs to Show Management, if required.  Designs submitted by: October 6, 2017
Customs Information - Exhibitors shipping goods from outside Canada to the Show will require customs clearance services. Make sure to contact the Show’s official Customs Broker, TWI Group, for more information. November 1, 2017
ESA Approval - if you wish to display/show or energize unapproved electrical equipment in your booth you must apply for approval with the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA). Please see the Application for Permission to Show & Energize form for more details.  November 1, 2017
Exhibitor Badges - ensure you register online prior to the show to guarantee your access in and out of the exhibit hall throughout the event. Temporary badges will be handed out onsite for those assisting with just move-in and out. November 25, 2017
Exhibitor Communications - details all communications sent out to date. N/A
Food and Beverage Service - In-booth food service, as well as host bars and catering are available to enhance the show experience. Please review the Catering forms for more information. November 13, 2017
General Liability Insurance - ensure to arrange for $5,000,000.00 commercialand liability insurance and submit your proof of insurance certificate. November 1, 2017
IIDEXCanada Innovation Awards - Submit your product to be considered.  November 17, 2017 at 5:00p.m. 
Internet Connection or Telecommunication Services - order these services directly from the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Please note, orders placed after the deadline will increase in cost.  November 13, 2017
Lead Retrieval Systems - capture contact information of qualified visitors to your booth and help turn your leads into sales. Please note, orders placed after the deadline will increase in cost. November 15, 2017
Lighting, Electricity, Sign/ Banner Hanging - place your service orders, as required, from SHOWTECH. Please note orders placed after the deadline will increase in cost. November 13, 2017
Mandatory Requirements - ensure you return all mandatory forms by their listed deadlines to the appropriate contacts. This includes the Health and Safety Compliance Declaration and the Fire Safety Reply.  October 27, 2017
Move-in & Move-out Procedures, including the colour-coded Move-in Floor Plan to determine your assigned move-in day and time. N/A
Parking Pass - MTCC - need to park at the Show? Ensure ease of access to the building by ordering in advance. Please note, orders placed after the deadline will increase in cost.  November 13, 2017
Press Kits - prepare for display onsite at the show. You may drop off your press kits on the 200 Level for inclusion in The Buildings Show's Media Lounge throughout the show. November 28, 2017, 9:00a.m. - 4:00p.m.
